WHAT IF I HAVE STRAYED TOO FAR FROM THE LORD?

Deuteronomy 30:4 – “Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the Lord your God will gather you and bring you back.”

Deuteronomy 30:6 – “The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love Him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.”

Deuteronomy 30: 11 – 14

“Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.

It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”

Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”

No the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.”

SAFE HAVEN

ROMANS 8: 38 & 39 – “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

I think that about sums up a safe haven!

WHEN WE ARE LOST IN LIFE

Psalm 32:6 – 8

         “Therefore let everyone who is godly

pray to You

while You may be found;

         surely when the mighty waters rise,

                  they will not reach him.

         You are my hiding place;

         You will protect me from trouble

         And surround me with songs of

                  deliverance.

         I will instruct you and teach you in

                  the way you should go;

         I will counsel you and watch over you.”

DEATH SERVES A PURPOSE

JOHN 12: 23- 26

Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.  Whoever serves Me must follow Me; and where I am, My servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves Me.”

May we live for Jesus in such a way that the day of our death to this world produces many seeds ... as we walk into the presence of our Heavenly Father.
